Angela Riva

PhD student in Quantum Control

I'm a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the Quantic team of Inria and at Sorbonne Université in Paris.

My research focuses on open quantum systems theory. I study realistic models of physical systems with potential applications to quantum technologies, using both analytical and numerical methods. I'm also interested in many body theory, especially tensor network simulations of fermionic systems.

Before starting my PhD I obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi in Milan, worked as an intern at the Institut de Nanosciences de Paris, and participated in an exchange program at Technische Universität München.
